A consistent problem faced by many people wanting their teeth aligned using the Invisalign system (or other clear aligner systems) is that their situation (orthodontic diagnosis) is to difficult for the Invisalign systems. Using the Prealign system Dr Mew uses the sectional system, Biobloc or ALF system to convert an otherwise impossible case for Invisalign into a case that could be treated with Invisalign or simpler aligner systems.

There are several methods of Prealign that Dr Mew uses;

• Deep bites using the sectional system
• Severely rotated or angled teeth using the sectional system
• Moving individual teeth extreme distances (2mm or more) using the sectional system
• Narrow dental arches using the Biobloc or ALF systems
• Mild irregularities using the Biobloc or ALF system
